The Decorators’ Show House is a rich tradition that the Junior League of Buffalo brought to Western New York in 1981.

The Junior League of Buffalo and The Buffalo News are pleased to announce that The Grace Millard Knox House has been selected as the location of the 2021 Decorators’ Show House. The 28,000 square foot French Renaissance style home was built by NYC Architect Charles Pierrepont H. Gilbert between 1915-1918 for the widow of Seymour Knox. It is located on the historic “Millionaire Row” at 800 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo, NY. Mrs. Knox raised her three children here and the Knox family remained at the residence until it was sold in 1969 to the Montefiore Club, a private men’s club.

TICKET INFORMATION

Tickets must be purchased in advance for a specific time slot to gain entry. Mobile tickets will be scanned upon entry. Tickets will not be sold at the door. Paper tickets will not be accepted. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

The Decorators’ Show House will be following all CDC and NYS COVID-19 guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.

Health monitoring: If you have been diagnosed with COVID-19, are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or have known exposure to COVID-19 within 14 days of your visit, please kindly not attend the Show House.

Wear a mask: All guests and volunteers are required to wear a mask when touring the Show House and on Show House property. Masks are required protective equipment for the safety of all.

Parking: Parking is available onsite behind the Show House.

Admission to house: Guests will be admitted to the house throughout the one-hour time frame listed on the ticket

Pace your visit: Guests will follow a linear path within the home. To ensure spaces are not overcrowded and all guests are able to have an enriching experience, a visit of no more than 90 minutes is suggested. 

Social distancing: Capacity is limited within the Show House and our guest experience has been adjusted to ensure social distancing guidelines are being followed.

Cleaning: High touch surfaces cleaned regularly throughout the day.

Hand sanitation: Hand sanitizer is available at the entry and exit of the home. In addition, the guest bathrooms in the basement of the home are available for you to wash your hands at the end of your visit.
